Symptomology | Best Practices | Client Case Study If you are fairly new to homeopathy the nuances of symptoms and actually listening to your body as a messenger vs the enemy, is a big shift for many clients. If that is you, you are not alone, and this is not a new phenomenon. Best practices. Write down all the symptoms you have today. (physical, mental and emotional) As many as you can remember, write down the date, and note the level of intensity from 1 to 10 for physical or emotional symptoms. If a memory comes to the surface while writing about your symptom. I.e. I remember the first time it felt like this, was just after a car accident 10 years ago, a relationship ended, a loss, when I was on holiday and had strep throat. Write it down. All of it is relevant. You will discuss many of your symptoms with Monaliz at your first in-depth meeting. She will have asked you pointed questions to determine what remedy, or remedies will resonate with your constitution most effectively. Be patient, this is a process, and in my experience, it can be instant, 48 hours, or weeks of releasing through seemingly unrelated symptoms, or nothing, and a shift in remedy is required. It’s a dance between the interpretation of your issue and Monaliz listening for clues that your body and mind are providing. Think healing detective. Trust me, if you are negotiating a chronic issue, there will be many layers, and many insights into your issue, long forgotten, that may resurface. Seemingly insignificant. Nothing is insignificant. Monaliz provided a remedy. Now what? Take your remedy as indicated. Instructions will indicate 3 remedies (white pellets) 1x a week, or 3x a day or something similar, and personalized to your case. Remedies will come in a potency of 30CH, 200CH up to 1M in some cases. It is recommended that you take your remedy 15 minutes at minimum before, or 30 min after, food, coffee or brushing teeth. I keep remedies beside my bed, and with my journal as a reminder. Please note any symptoms that change and update daily. Consider doing a body scan every morning and every night before bed. Starting at the base of your feet and slowly working up your body. Note any colors that come to mind as you go through this process. Any fears, thoughts, insights. Again, like a broken record, it's all relevant. Sometimes, a symptom may intensify or something else will erupt. Look for ways the body is attempting to release that which is at the source of your issue. A skin eruption, headache, toothache, muscle pain, body ache, memories surfacing, fatigue…anything like that. Alternatively, note shifts in pain, i.e. went from my left wrist to my right shoulder, to lower back, to it simply vanished. Note sleep patterns. I had a fantastic sleep and woke up tired. I feel like I slept the best I’ve slept in years. I felt peace in my mind, fogginess lifted. I felt genuinely content this morning, excited about the day. I invite you to journal for the next 2 weeks at minimum or until your next appointment. Any unique dreams or emotional experiences. Everything gives Monaliz information as to what is happening with your body. Symptoms can be tricky. Maybe you've lived with them for so long you hardly notice them anymore. That mid-day nap, or crashing after eating, the unquenching thirst in the morning or at night, only cold water, or only warm or hot. The feeling of wanting to be left alone, or this neediness to be held. When you are on the other side of your symptoms you will hardly recall what it was like before. Homeopathy naturally supports the transition to healing, realigning and resetting your body. Allopathy has trained most of the modern world to "quick fix" thinking. If after a week, you sense no change in symptoms or feel unclear, please reach out to Monaliz. She is here for you 100%. Real life Case | Dental Issue | Severe jaw throbbing, extensive bleeding from gums/tooth, possible extraction A client had an extremely painful tooth ache and infection. So bad that the dentist was ready to extract the tooth and honestly, she wanted it out also. “If it's bad and infected, it's got to go!” they said. They subscribed antibiotics and wanted to review the tooth after the infection, swelling and bleeding had subsided. This had been a long-standing issue for my client with bone loss and random nerve pain over 15 years. (Chronic) The dentist decided to hold off on the extraction to stabilize the area. The tech said, “we’ll do a deep clean and the tooth will probably need to go from what I see.” Within 10 days of the clean, it seemed to heal and then shortly thereafter my client started spitting blood from the tooth again. Throbbing returned. She revisited the dentist. This time the dentist said something distinct. “Although your teeth look great, you probably have a bacteria that is most likely at play here, possibly hereditary, as you are too young for this dental issue and you don’t have signs of neglect, minimal plaque etc.” My client emails me with this information. Bingo! This was enough evidence to begin another line of questioning. I asked my client, “Did you ever have a bad case of strep throat?” She said, “yes”, twice that she recalled. This particular client had experienced Strep throat 2x in her life with strong symptoms. Once when she was a child, the other as a newly married woman, on holiday with her husband who went out for dinner with friends while she stayed home sick, getting weaker, and more afraid by the moment. Notice the emotional link with the symptoms. Her mental state was an important clue. Enter Strep remedy. Starting light at 30CH and progressing to 200CH then 1M. Client experienced blister like eruptions on the inside of her mouth, cauliflower like growth on the tip of her tongue , both lasting no longer than a few hours and then the skin eruptions came. Both sides of her neck to behind her ears and down part of her shoulder. Incredibly itchy, she says. Fatigue. Sleeping extra hours sometimes 10. She started to worry, maybe I have shingles, skin cancer. Her emotions became heightened. There’s something “wrong” and she’s feeling “alone and isolated”. See the pattern here? Needless to say, we stayed in communication. Sometimes it takes courage to face our shadows on the path to healing. She started journaling, her dreams were extremely vivid and random and then one day, she had a dream with her ex husband, her in laws, his new partner and it was filled with gratitude and release. Guess what followed? If you guessed full removal of all symptoms, rash, clears up after 7 days. Tooth pain and discharge, done. The entire process took about 6 weeks. Check-ins after 1 month and 2 months. Nothing in the area. Issue resolved after 15 years. Having said that, there has been significant damage done prior to this release of the bacteria, so she will still need to remain vigilant with tooth care. But the issue that got her here, has disappeared. *Although unnamed, please know that authorization was requested and granted for use of this case study.
